Preserve the Legacy is an unincorporated association formed by HOME (Homeowners Opposed to Museum Expansion). This grassroots organization was started by residents of the neighborhood adjacent to the Museum of Tolerance, to oppose the Museum's expansion project.
We invite anyone to join our effort, which now includes other associations, groups and individuals, all of whom are united by the strong belief that the Museum's tactic to reposition itself as a cultural center and banquet facility for parties, as a means to raise revenue, will damage the important legacy of Simon Wiesenthal.
In addition, help us keep the MOT from destroying the residential character (and the quiet and safe streets) of the adjacent and predominantly Jewish neighborhoods, and from setting a very bad precedent for City approval of massive and inappropriate commercial development in residential areas.
